-Thesis Abstract-

Executive Summary

The West Village Commons will serve as the gateway to the west side of Towson University's campus. It will be the home of many dining amenities including Einstein Bros. Bagels, Jamba Juice, Coyote Jack's, and Outtakes: Quick Cuisine. The second floor will also have a buffet-style dining commons serving the surrounding campus residence halls. The third and fourth floor footprint expands over the recently completed Emerson Road, creating an architectually eye catching feature. These top two floors will serve as multi-purpose and general meeting rooms. This new facility is striving to achieve a LEED Silver Rating and does so through some distinct sustainable features such as low flow plumbing fixtures, pre and post recycled materials, and a green roof structure on the partial third floor roof.

A more detailed description of West Village Commons can be seen by clicking the abstract to the right.
